Traveling Bostonian is a travel magazine and blog that I created. I have visited and photographed over 27 countries, and the content was a joy to work with. I spent many hours compiling all of the photographs and writing from my travels to turn it into a boutique journal website and magazine.
Through self-teaching, I have acquired all the coding skills I possess as a creative individual. With the help of resources like Stackoverflow and YouTube tutorials, I have been able to develop my skills and build beautiful web experiences like Traveling Bostonian. These skills have also aided me in connecting with other teams and projects, including developers, project managers, and leadership.
Traveling Bostonian is a travel magazine and blog that I created. I have visited and photographed over 27 countries, and the content was a joy to work with. I spent many hours compiling all of the photographs and writing from my travels to turn it into a boutique journal website and magazine. I was responsible for the layout design, photography, writing, cover design, and branding for this project. The design process was very enjoyable, and I am happy with the final product.
This passion project, of which I am the sole stakeholder, has been an ongoing journey. As I travel and photograph new places, I add them to the website, and I am currently compiling destinations for a second magazine. It has taken me a lot of time, learning, and revisions to get to this point, but I am very happy with the current site and the quality of the book.
This project is not about commercial success; it is a personal journey to document my travels and experiences. It is more important to me to create a lasting record of my travels than it is to make money or attract attention. I want to be able to look back on my life and remember all the amazing places I've seen and the people I've met.
